stator

i made stator in early 2025 while i was in between jobs.  it was cold in the shop.  i found a 4' x 4' piece of 1/2" plywood in the dumpster behind a dollar store and was inspired to try to make the largest scrap circle piece to date.  it was an undertaking that required modifying/extending the circle cutting jig i'd made for my bandsaw years ago.  worth it!  the materials list here could get long and boring, but some highlights include a crumpled whiffle ball, pool noodle, street comb, garden hose, pedicure toe foam thing, various reflectors, slot machine guts, nerf gun, grated parmesan lid, roach clip, multiple floor tiles, signage, plastic chain, and many unidentified (to me, at least) objects.  and adhesive.  i wonder if i could get a sponsorship from gorilla glue.
