reminder 22.0

reminder 22.0 had been bouncing around in my head for a few years.  one of the first scrap pieces i’d ever made had a small section that always stuck with me.  instead of assembling a whole mess of different materials and shapes with a seemingly random smattering of color, i wanted to see what it would be like if i took a more structured/focused approach.  so i did a little mock-up on the iPad and started cutting, painting and gluing.  materials include: 1/2″ plywood, hemlock, poplar, some old maple from a chair i found on the curb, spray paint, acrylic paint, adhesive.
